The Resort Group PLC commences its activity in Poland

The Resort Group PLC, the international company specializing in design, construction and operation of luxury resorts, has commenced its activity in Poland. The opening ceremony of the representative office in Warsaw took place on 1 March this year. The goal of the company is to gain in three years 15-20% market share in the Polish foreign investment market.

The Resort Group PLC (TRG) is a multinational company with its administrative centre in the United Kingdom, financial centre in Gibraltar and representative offices in Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Czech and recently Poland. 

The strategy of The Resort Group Central & Eastern Europe in Poland incorporates the establishment of a network of sales representatives and building name awareness in Poland. Following the successful market-entry in other Central European countries, we expect continued success in Poland as we have seen across Europe. In terms of market-share of the oversees property investment market in Poland, we expect 15 to 20% market share by 2020. We offer investors long-term guaranteed returns from rental programme of apartments in our resorts which are operating since 2011. – says Zbigniew Popowski, the representative of The Resort Group PLC in Poland. 

TRG is a developer and owner of 5-star branded resorts (Meliá, Hilton and others) with a range of integrated businesses such as logistics, food and beverages import, retail and others. The company is the market leader in the Republic of Cape Verde with over 46,9% market share in the 5-star hotel & resorts’ segment and represents approx. 4% of the GDP of the country. The group currently has the turnover of over 150 million Euros and employs over 2,000 people in a number of countries. 

Cape Verde is situated in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa and just an hour by airplane from the Canaries. Ideal weather conditions, clean water and beautiful beaches give effect that island’s tourism numbers have increased considerably since 2000.

TRG currently has three, up-and-running 5-star resorts on the island Sal in operation. On the island Boa Vista the company is developing six new resorts on a unique location, the Santa Monica Beach. The group signed also an agreement with one of the largest tour operators in the world, which guarantees occupancy and underpins returns from proposed by it investments.
