Panattoni starts work on factory for Danfoss Poland

Panattoni, the leading industrial developer in Europe, has started construction work on a factory for Danfoss Poland in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The development with an area of 12,000 sqm will be equipped with several ecologically friendly systems that will make the building highly energy-efficient and also improve the conditions for the workforce of around 400 people. The building is scheduled to be completed in November 2021. It will be used as a place to manufacture cutting-edge components for the RAC (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) business division.

Panattoni has begun the development of another BTO (built-to-own) building using cutting-edge technology. This time the developer is to deliver an advanced factory with an area of 12,950 sqm for Danfoss Poland – a branch of a Danish producer of energy-efficient components and technological systems for the refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, disk drive and mobile machines sector. The ceremonial start of construction took place on October 13th, 2020 on the site of the Danfoss factory in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

The project is to be developed in two stages. The first is planned to already be complete by mid-April 2021 with early access to the site to be granted a month before completion; however, the final handover of the Danfoss Poland building is planned for November 30th, 2021. Marek Foryński, BTS Managing Director at Panattoni stated in comment that: “The investment schedule is for the production hall and the office building, which will be the future head office of Danfoss Poland, to be developed in around 4 months. This is an unusually tight timeline, especially considering that Panattoni will also be responsible for adjusting the existing infrastructure on the site to the advanced requirements of a Danfoss Poland factory,” and he adds: “I am proud that Panattoni was chosen for this development and want to thank Danfoss for their trust in us. Bespoke buildings require the most advanced solutions and must meet the most varied and exacting requirements of the client. Every such project requires an attention to detail and an individual approach. This is what we enjoy, which is something that our portfolio demonstrates.”
