HOCHTIEF Polska to extend an industrial plant for assembling electric motors

HOCHTIEF Polska’s branch in Kraków has been commissioned to extend an existing industrial plant for assembling electric motors with production-warehouse-social building in the Niepołomice Economic Industrial Zone.

The contract value was agreed to be kept confidential. The project will be carried out for the company Sopem, a fully owned subsidiary of the Somfy Group – leader in the automatic control of openings and closures in homes and buildings (manufacturer of e.g. electric motors for trellis, roller shutters, jalousie, marquee and gates).

Construction works will commence in June and end in December 2016. The new building with the total area of 10,200 square meters will consist of two functional zones: a single-storey manufacturing hall with an one-storey, high-bay warehouse hall as well as a two-storey social part which will be extended.
