Goodman achieves 100% occupancy at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre

Kraków Airport Logistics Centre

Goodman has leased a 2,000 sqm storage facility at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre to packaging manufacturer, DS Smith Packaging. The lease is for the last remaining vacant unit in the fourth warehouse at the logistics centre. The leasing transaction was conducted by CBRE.

Goodman has now leased a total of 55,230 sqm of space at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre, representing over a third of the target capacity and has developed four of a proposed nine warehouses. “The lease agreement with DS Smith Packaging has special significance for us, as we have now fully leased this phase of development at our logistics centre in Kraków. We look forward to the next phase of development, which will commence as soon as we secure a new customer,” said Błażej Ciesielczak, Regional Director Goodman Poland.
DS Smith Packaging will lease a 1,730 sqm warehouse with 200 sqm of office and social space, and is moving its commercial division from Kraków to the Goodman’s Kraków Airport Logistics Centre. The company operating under the logo of Pak-Centrum Kraków Branch will manage distribution operations for packaging and auxiliary packaging material together with storage, co-packaging and logistics services.

Handover to DS Smith Packaging is planned for mid-July and Goodman will adapt the space to the new customer’s requirements in advance of the handover. “We were looking for a modern facility close to Kraków, which would enable us to expand our regional operations. We chose Kraków Airport Logistics Centre for several reasons, including the location, which offers good road connections while also being close to Kraków. We are confident that Goodman will provide us with the facility adapted to our specific needs,” says Artur Popczyk, Pak-Centrum Group Director, DS Smith Packaging.

In addition to DS Smith Packaging, customers at Kraków Airport Logistics Centre’s 12,230 sqm fourth facility include pet food manufacturer Royal Canin, which has leased 3,500 sqm, pharmaceutical raw materials manufacturer, Logfarma with 2,600 sqm, and logistics operator DB Schenker Logistics, leasing 4,400 sqm.
