Colliers International advises LPP on land for new distribution centre

The Gdańsk clothing producer LPP is to build a new distribution centre on a 35-ha plot in Brześć Kujawski in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in an investment worth over PLN 400 million. Colliers International advised the company on the choice of land plot.

The new LPP distribution centre with a planned area of around 100,000 sqm will be dedicated to the popular Reserved clothing brand. Design work will start this autumn, and the facility is due to open at the start of 2022. Ultimately, about 1000 people will be employed there. Every week, up to 10 million items of clothing and accessories will be dispatched from Brześć Kujawski.

- The investment in Brześć Kujawski is part of LPP’s development strategy for the coming years. The development of our network of stores in Poland and abroad as well as the significant increase in the share of online sales are challenges that require technologically advanced logistics facilities, says Jacek Kujawa, LPP's Vice-President of the Management Board for logistics and IT.

The distribution centre in Brześć Kujawski will double LPP’s current storage space. After its launch, logistics for offline sales of the company’s other brands will be carried out in Pruszcz Gdański. The centre located there is currently the largest and most modern facility for clothing distribution in Central and Eastern Europe. From Pruszcz Gdański, LPP sends 8 million items of clothing per week to its stores.
