KFC and Subway in Galeria Neptun

KFC and Subway signed leases in the Galeria Neptun shopping centre in Starogard Gdański. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield as the exclusive agent responsible for commercialization of the scheme, represented the investor in negotiations with the new tenants.

KFC is a fast food restaurant chain operating in 109 countries worldwide. It is managed by AmRest Holdings, which has more than 430 restaurants in Central Europe, of which over 190 are located in Poland. AmRest also runs restaurants under such power brands as Pizza Hut and Burger King, as well as coffeehouse chain Starbucks. The KFC restaurant in Galeria Neptun will take up 133 sq m and is scheduled to open in August.

Iwona Sarachman, Public Relations Director of AmRest, said: “The new KFC restaurant in Galeria Neptun will be our first in Starogard Gdański. We are pleased that our offer will become available to the inhabitants of this city. The shopping centre’s central location and wide retail offer are bound to attract many of our customers. We look forward to welcoming everyone who loves the unique taste of our chicken.”

Another eatery that will soon complement the food and beverage offer of Galeria Neptun is Subway, a fast food restaurant franchise that serves sandwiches. It currently operates around 44,000 restaurants in 110 countries worldwide, including 100 in Poland. The one in Starogard Gdański will take up 48 sq m.

Galeria Neptun is located in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets. It totals 54,000 sq m, of which 25,000 sq m is leasable space. The scheme offers an underground car park with more than 600 parking spaces. The centre serves a catchment population of around 250,000. Thanks to its superb location, the new gallery is easily accessible from each part of the city. Key tenants include: Intermarche, Media Expert, Empik, Smyk, six brands of LPP S.A. (i.e. Reserved, Sinsay, Mohito, House, Cropp and Home&You), Cinema City, a family entertainment centre, a gym and fitness club “Good Luck Club”.

Patryk Piechowski, Marketing Manager of Galeria Neptun, said: “We are very pleased that our food court offer has been expanded by brands that enjoy unwavering popularity across Poland and have been greatly awaited by the city’s inhabitants.”

Tomasz Lipiński, a negotiator from the Retail Department of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Galeria Neptun attracts international brands from various sectors and the investor aims to ensure the best possible conditions for each tenant. The centre has already been 84,2% let.”

Galeria Neptun Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. is the developer of the shopping centre while Dekpol Sp. z o.o. is the general contractor. Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialization of the scheme.
