Galeria Neptun has new tenants

Galeria Neptun in Starogard Gdański, which was opened in late April 2015, has recently signed leases with new tenants: a Carry store, a Euro-Apteka pharmacy and restaurant Waga Smaków. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, represented the developer in these transactions.

Carry, which has more than 100 stores across Poland, will open its store with clothes and accessories for men, women and children in Galeria Neptun on 26 June. The Carry brand is well-known to Pomerania inhabitants. Its store in Galeria Neptun will take up more than 627 sq m and will be the first in Starogard Gdański.

Galeria Neptun will also have a stronger food and beverage offer with the opening of Waga Smaków scheduled for July. The self-service buffet restaurant will specialize in Polish cuisine with an international touch. Guests will pick food themselves paying a flat rate of PLN 2.95 per 100 g. Meals will be prepared on the spot by local cooks. The restaurant will take up 60 sq m.

Euro-Apteka, which has leased around 130 sq m, will also open in Galeria Neptun soon. The pharmacy will have a large self-service section with a wide assortment of dermocosmetics.

Patryk Piechowski, Marketing Manager of Galeria Neptun, said: “We are delighted at the planned openings and our developing retail, food and drink offer. A gym and fitness club Good Luck Club, which was eagerly awaited by many active lifestyle consumers, has just been opened. In addition to the gym, it offers a solarium, three saunas, a spinning room and massage facilities.”

Galeria Neptun has been developed at the site of the former footwear factory Neptun at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański. It totals 54,000 sq m, of which 25,000 sq m is leasable space, and targets around 200,000 people living within its catchment area. Galeria Neptun also has an underground car park with more than 600 parking spaces. With its superb location it offers easy access from each part of the city. It was opened on 25 April.

Tomasz Lipiński, a negotiator from the Retail Department of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The final stage of commercialization of Galeria Neptun is running smoothly. Further leases are being signed.”

Galeria Neptun Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. is the developer of the shopping centre while Dekpol Sp. z o.o. is the general contractor. Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialization of the scheme.
