Galeria Metropolia signs up new tenants

The commercialization of Gdańsk’s Galeria Metropolia, which is scheduled to open on 22-23 October, is nearing completion. Fourteen new tenants include fashion stores, cafés and services. Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, acted as the agent on the lease agreements.

New tenants of Galeria Metropolia, which is opening this month, include fashion and accessories retailers such as Best Brands, PDM italian fashion, Lara Fabio and Pink Box, and a Belgian casual & luxury brand J&JOY. The offer of Galeria Metropolia is complemented by two other fashion retailers Monnari and Green Point, and Second Cup (the first café of this brand in Tricity), a Zielona Budka ice-cream shop, a Kolporter newsagent store and a UPC store.

Galeria Metropolia will be one of Tricity’s best-connected shopping centres. Customers arriving by train will be able to access it from a nearby Fast Municipal Railway (SKM) platform, over a footbridge over the railway line or through an extended tunnel under the railway line. Galeria Metropolia will provide more than 34,000 sq m of retail space in around 150 retail and service stores and stands spread over its four levels, approximately 1,100 parking spaces and an outdoor Park&Ride car park.
