There is decision concerning "Jagiellońska" shopping centre in Białystok

Another shopping centre in Białystok named "Jagiellońska" is to be jointly constructed by the developer J.W. Construction and the Jagiellonia sport club. It will be constructed on the site of a former club's stadium. The investor has already been granted environmental decision regarding the construction of the building, stated the portal.

According to the design prepared by an international company Chapman Taylor, the structure, as seen from the Biała River, will be partially glassed with a fragment designated for a climbing wall. Boulevards with pedestrian and bike roads will be constructed around the centre as well as overpasses connecting two banks of the river.

The space for the tenants of the centre will amount to 50,000 sqm; it will house 150 stores, a large entertainment area with a food court and a multi screen cinema. DTZ is responsible for the commercialisation of Galeria Jagiellońska.

The project is carried out jointly by J.W. Wind sp. z o.o., Józef Wojciechowski, the major shareholder of J.W. Construction Holding SA, being its shareholder, and by Jagiellonia Białystok Sportowa SA. According to previous announcements by the investor, the construction works on the shopping centre cite are to start in July.
