Sky Park to build a retail scheme in Warsaw

In the vicinity of the Southern bypass of Warsaw, which is under construction, by Krakowska Avenue, opposite the Okęcie Airport, a new shopping centre is being constructed. Galeria Sky Park will have 17,000 sqm of retail space. The opening of the first phase is scheduled for the end of 2013.

Galeria Sky Park, SKY Park Sp. z o.o. being its investor, is situated at Szyszkowa Street, in the vicinity of the currently developed southern bypass of Warsaw. In the close vicinity of the investment, there already are Castorama, Decathlon and K61 centre anchored by a Real hypermarket Real, Media Markt and Meble Agata furniture shop.

The project will be developed in two stages. The first one will include delivery of 9,000 sqm while the second one will provide another 9,000 sqm. The design of the centre involves construction of a single storey building with a food operator at an area of 2,000 sqm and with 25 shop units ranging from 100 to 600 sqm. Customers will be able to use a car park with 285 parking spaces.

The scheduled commencement of the construction is to start in the fourth quarter of this year. The opening of Galeria Sky Park is scheduled for the end of 2013.
