Retail Provider to expand the investment in Olsztyn

Retail Provider, which plans construction of a shopping centre in Olsztyn adjoined by modern bus and railway stations, proposed the city authorities seven additional investments related to the construction of Integrated Transport Centre. 

The proposal includes creation of a Central Transfer Hub; extension of a underground passage going under rails in the direction of Zatorze; construction of a town square together with necessary optimisation of road and transport network as well as communal housing for the inhabitants of  Olsztyn. Representatives of the city and the company also decided to establish a special work group to prepared individual elements of the investments and issues related to creating the local spatial development plan that would encompass the investments. Retail Provider has informed that the total cost of the investments will amount to EUR 125 million.

As we informed before, the design of Integrated Transport Centre involves construction of a modern shopping centre with an area of 45,000 sqm GLA, which would combine transport, retail and entertainment functions just as projects currently realised in Katowice and Poznan. FS&P Arcus architects office is responsible for the architectonic concept of the project.
