New image of Lidl shops

Lidl is refreshing the image of its shops. The newly-constructed shops will significantly differ from what the firm made us used to.

“The emerging locations will be built in accordance with updated standards and this will make them different from the already existing ones. First of all, owing to the change to the pent-roof, the architectural form of buildings has changed. We have also decided to use modern high-quality aluminium facades which are bright and easy to maintain clean,” Anna Biskup, PR manager at Lidl told The City. “One of the walls consists of façade windows in order to provide more light to the sales floor. It is worth stressing that, as far as important ecological solutions are concerned, we began heat recovery from cooling equipment, thus lowering the consumption of energy necessary to heat the shop. Apart from developing new shops in accordance with the newest standards, we are performing refurbishments of existing locations on a current basis,” Anna Biskup adds.
