Ghelamco Launches Construction of Retail Park in Łomianki near Warsaw

The construction of retail park Prochownia Łomianki (Łomianki Powder House), Ghelamco Poland’s new project located right past the northern border of Warsaw, in Łomianki, has been launched. The space of the building will cover around 5300 sq m. The planned commissioning date is December this year.

Prochownia Łomianki will be located on Warszawska Street, i.e. the main commercial street in Łomianki. Historically, a powder mill was located here (this is what the building’s name comes from), and in recent years wood processing plants have operated here.

The tenants are being acquired by the international company JLL. It is already known that the retail park will host a supermarket of German retailer (covering the space of around 2200 sq m), as well as a drugstore, pet store, children’s goods store, a mid-size fashion store, and a consumer electronics store.

“The centre’s offer will be complemented by a restaurant and a cafe. In addition, we will provide commercial spaces ranging from 30 to 100 sq m. Talks are now underway with several tenants who do business in Łomianki. We want the retail park to be enriched with tenants from the local market, so much appreciated by the customers,” says Mariusz Czerwiak, Head of Commercial Space Lease in JLL.

Apart from a diverse commercial offer and an excellent location, one of the assets of Prochownia Łomianki will include a parking lot with 150 spaces and a design allowing for entering the individual premises directly from the outside. All this will make Prochownia Łomianki a popular place for everyday, convenient shopping for the city’s residents.
