Property Book 2015

Tenants' five minutes

We present to you the fourth edition of the Property Book magazine, which is an opportunity to analyse the real property market in Poland.
A market is often evaluated through the economic condition of a country and Poland is a country with a strong and stable economic position in the region, recording a high activity of foreign and domestic investors. The retail market is expecting openings of new shopping centres, even though the number of brands in Poland is not increasing and the ones that are present here are rather careful as far as opening new stores in concerned. Office tenants can choose between a large number of new and existing projects. There is a clearly visible recovery to be seen in the industrial market. In one word: it is a tenants' market.

Attractive locations or business opportunities are not the only criteria for choosing a location to invest in, as TPA Horwath experts remind us. The Polish tax system is as attractive as Polish real properties. However, this is going to change – more about that in the articles devoted to tax issues. There have also been some major changes with respect to the law. They may impact the real property market and the investment process in Poland, as evidenced by EY experts.

This publication has been prepared with the participation of EY and TPA Horwath experts, and our Partners: Ghelamco – the strategic Partner, Polski Holding Nieruchomości and Vastint.
Traditionally, we include a list of retail, office and industrial investments in Poland with the essential data on their leasable space, opening date, investor, developer and agents responsible for commercialisation.
