Gains and loses

Property market is very variable. Not less than a stock exchange. Many investors have learned it in the recent years. It is nothing new. The situation is repeating itself. The hopes are rising and the prices are growing. Eventually, the bubble bursts and so do the hopes for gains. Therefore, investing on the commercial property market is a challenge which investment funds take up with varying results.

Paradoxically, one might loose not only on a bad investment but also on a good one. According to analyses related to the organisation of the European Football Championship – Euro 2012, Poland and Ukraine, who host the event, will pay much more for its organisation than they will profit from it. There is, however, a chance, that the Polish businessmen and the users of the new infrastructure will profit.

And speaking of profits. A prestigious location for a brand is an issue that cannot be underestimated; the charm of the place and taste of luxury are delicious additions to shopping. The New York’s “Fashionable Road” and the “Boulevard of Golden Credit Cards” are marvellous examples.

The world is going forward. Technique and technology change lifestyles. Also shopping gained a new dimension. The quality of customer service is the foundation of modern commerce, the ability of attracting and keeping a consumer is essential in every form of business. That quality and development do not always go together.

A new phenomenon, which the social media is, provides opportunity for innovative marketing and is becoming an added value to the activities of the managers and the tenants of Polish shopping centres. To quote the well-known saying: “There are positive pluses and negative pluses”. It is the task of every good manager to balance the negative ones.
