Wronia 31 office building receives BREEAM certificate

Wronia 31

Ghelamco Poland’s office building Wronia 31 has received the BREEAM eco certificate with the Outstanding rating for the Post Construction stage. It is the second time in history and the first in five years that an office building in Poland has got such a high rating.

Ghelamco is the first developer in Poland which has certified an office building with the BREEAM system. In 2010 the certificate was awarded to Trinity Park III in Warsaw.

Wronia 31 is the company’s tenth BREEAM-certified building. It is also the second commissioned office building in the certificate’s history in Poland to receive such a high score and the Outstanding rating for the Post Construction stage.

BREEAM is the most popular eco certification system. It assesses, among others, the building’s quality, its friendliness to the natural environment, and comfort level of the people staying in it. The assessment is made at every stage of the construction process. The method was developed by Building Research Establishment (BRE) from Great Britain.

Currently all the company’s projects are delivered in line with sustainable construction principles and BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) guidelines. Apart from Wronia 31, the company’s key green projects include Warsaw Spire and Wołoska 24, certified with Excellent ratings. The company’s flagship project The Warsaw HUB as well as big in Krakow are pending.
