Skanska starts the construction of the 2nd phase of Green Towers in Wroclaw

Green Towers, Wrocław.

Skanska Property Poland has started construction works on the site of the second phase of Green Towers project (B building). This ‘green’ investment is situated at Strzegomska Street in Wroclaw. Lettable space of the second building in the Greet Towers concept will total 11.6 thousand sqm; its delivery is scheduled for the turn of 2012 and 2013.

“We decided to start the construction of the second phase of the Green Towers complex due to the huge potential of Wroclaw and its image of a dynamic city which is willing to support new investments. We observe ever increasing interest in office space in green buildings among both future tenants and investors,” said Waldemar Olbryk, CEO of Skanska Property Poland.

Green Towers is a second commercial project in Wroclaw by Skanska Property Poland. In 2009, Grunwaldzki Center was delivered – the first office building to be realised in the city by Skanska. The total value of the investment in Green Towers office complex will amount to EUR 48 million (A and B buildings).
