Generali becomes the new owner of the Senatorska 18A office building in Warsaw

Senatorska 18A

Generali Real Estate has acquired Senatorska 18A in Warsaw from the Austrian development group S+B Gruppe AG. The buyer was advised by Colliers International during the contract negotiation.

Senatorska 18A is located in a reconstructed tenement house in the centre of Warsaw, nearby the Grand Theater and the Jabłonowski Palace. It was built in 1997 as part of the reconstructed north frontage of Teatralny Square. The building has good transport links, including the first metro line (Ratusz-Arsenał station) and numerous bus and tram stops at Bankowy Square and Solidarności Avenue. The total leasable area of the five-storey building is 17,700 sqm.

“Real estate located in prestigious locations is always a good investment offering excellent commercial potential and liquidity of assets throughout the investment horizon. Senatorska 18A also has excellent transport links with the entire city and modern office space inside a stylish tenement building. We are glad that we could advise Generali Real Estate in this transaction,” says Piotr Mirowski, Senior Partner, Head of Investment Services in Poland at Colliers International.

Generali Real Estate, part of the Generali Group, is one of the world's leading real estate managers with around EUR 30 billion in assets under management. The portfolio of assets managed by the company includes a unique combination of historical and modern real estate, ranging from characteristic buildings such as Procuratie Vecchie in Venice to contemporary architectural masterpieces such as CityLife in Milan and Tour Saint Gobain in Paris.
