Azora Europa purchased two office buildings in the Green Office complex from Grupa Buma

Azora Europa Fund has purchased two modern office buildings belonging to the Green Office complex from Grupa Buma. The sales agreement was concluded on 21 December 2011 and applies to 11 300 sqm of leasable office space (A Building – 3 300 sqm and B Building – 8 000 mkw). Motorola Polska Solutions Sp. z o.o is the tenant in both buildings.

The office complex Green Office, located at ul. Czerwone Maki in Cracow, consists of three four-storey A-class office buildings. The total leasable space of the complex totals 21 300 sqm. An architectonic company UCEES from Cracow is the author of the design.

Grupa Buma was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle in the process of the sale, and Norton Rose law office provided legal services.

Azora Europa is a Private Equity fund belonging to Azora Group, which comprises capital structures operating in international commercial, residential, hotel and biorenewable energy real estate markets. The fund manages a capital of EUR 700 million. Azora Europa has been operating in the investment market since 2007 and deals with investments in the real estate sector in CEE countries. The fund is the owner of four office buildings with the total value of EUR 110 million (in Warsaw, Cracow and Prague) and, as the equity investor, it is involved in two residential development projects in Warsaw for about 900 houses. Currently Azora is in the course of further transactions which it intends to finalise during this year. Its main shareholders include Spanish banks, credit unions, pension funds and private investors.
