Promotions in the Industrial and Logistics Agency at Colliers International

Colliers International, a leading commercial real estate advisory firm, has announced the promotion of three experts in the Industrial and Logistics Agency. Krzysztof Kienorow was promoted to the position of partner, Grzegorz Paluch has become a director in the department, and Łukasz Grupa was appointed associate director.

Krzysztof Kienorow joined the Industrial and Logistics Agency of Colliers International in 2010. At the beginning of January, he became a partner. In his new role, his responsibilities will include development of the business line, building and strengthening relations with clients and co-creating the company's strategy. In his professional career, Krzysztof has advised companies from the logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail and courier sectors. He has represented companies such as Żabka, DPD, Raben, Frisco, Eurocash, Answear.com and Denso.

Grzegorz Paluch has been with Colliers International for 14 years. He joined the team as a financial analyst, and then as an associate director he represented clients in transactions for the lease and sale of warehouse and production space. In his new position, his responsibilities will include acquiring new tenants, establishing and maintaining business relations with clients and supporting the building and implementing of the department's strategy.

Łukasz Grupa joined Colliers International in 2004. During his 16 years with the company he has cooperated with companies including Shell, Philip Morris, Brita, Action S.A., Żabka, LPP S.A., DB Schenker and BBK. As an associate director, Łukasz will be responsible for acquiring clients, developing business relations and for strategic consultancy in relocation, renegotiation and real estate sales processes.

Over the last 5 years we have seen a steady increase in the volume of new logistics and industrial space. Poland is becoming a warehouse leader in Central and Eastern Europe. The scale of interest in industrial assets by investors from different parts of the world is still growing. In the face of such a dynamic expansion, our department is rapidly developing and improving its competences in order to offer clients the highest possible level of services”, says Krzysztof Kienorow, partner in the Industrial and Logistics Agency at Colliers International.

Last year was exceptional for Colliers International, both in terms of the volume of leased space and the number of transactions. In 2019, the Industrial and Logistics Agency carried out several record-breaking transactions, including: BBK's lease of 68,500 sq m of warehouse space at Panattoni Park Gdańsk (the largest lease in the history of the Gdańsk market) and Raben's relocation to Prologis Park Ruda Śląska, where it leased 51,214 sq m. According to Colliers experts, this year promises to be equally intense and will bring new challenges.

The warehouse market in Poland is developing intensively. The structure of industrial property owners is changing, with funds and smaller private investors purchasing entire portfolios or single investments playing an increasingly important role, in addition to developers. Our role is to provide tenants with a full range of opportunities offered by this rapidly changing market and to provide a wide range of data that will enable them to make the most optimal decisions”, says Grzegorz Paluch, director in the Industrial and Logistics Agency at Colliers International.
