Grzegorz Chmielak appointed as Head of CEE Valuation & Advisory at Knight Frank

Grzegorz Chmielak, Partner and Head of Valuation & Advisory at Knight Frank Poland has been appointed as Head of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Valuation & Advisory.

The Polish expert was appointed as the new Head at the recommendation of the European Valuation Board at Knight Frank.

‘In response to rising demand for cross-border valuations for CEE clients, Grzegorz will lead the organization and co-ordination of pitches and client relationship management with regard to property valuations in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Montenegro, Estonia and Bulgaria.’ – said Rupert Johnson, Global Head of Valuation & Advisory at Knight Frank.

Grzegorz Chmielak will remain the Head of Valuation & Advisory, Knight Frank Poland, with the team he oversees having one of the highest numbers of commissions in Poland,and one of the leaders in the market of commercial property valuers in the country.

Grzegorz Chmielak has over 20 years of experience in the property market, taking on the role of Head of Valuation at Knight Frank Poland in 2011. Prior to joining Knight Frank, he worked in banks and consulting companies in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.  A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and post-graduate studies at the Sheffield Hallam University (property valuations and property management) Grzegorz is a licensed property valuer, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and holds an MBA in joint studies at the Business Academy in NowySącz and National Louis University. He is a holder of the CIS HypZert (MLV), and Rev Certificates, allowing him to perform property valuations for German banks financing real estate in Poland.
