Cushman & Wakefield continues to grow in strength

In response to the growing number of projects and demand for services, global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its teams of the Retail Agency (Marek Dąbrowski), Capital Markets (Robert Tomaszewski), Asset Services in Poland (Paulina Brzozowska and Magdalena Kokosza) and in EMEA (Magdalena Puchalska-Nielaba and Agata Opłocka). In addition, Agata Dworzak has joined the firm’s HR department with responsibility for HR strategy development.

Magdalena Puchalska-Nielaba joined Cushman & Wakefield in July 2018 and is head of the newly set up Bid Management team that supports Asset Services EMEA in bid preparation. Magdalena has worked in commercial real estate for 15 years and has gained professional experience at global real estate advisory firms such as Cushman & Wakefield in Warsaw and Donaldsons/DTZ in London, as well as investment and development firms (Caelum Development and Avestus Real Estate), and a state-owned enterprise PKP S.A. Magdalena holds a master’s degree in law of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She has also completed postgraduate studies in European law at Warsaw University and has a real estate agent’s licence.

Agata Opłocka joined Cushman & Wakefield’s new Bid Management team in August 2018. She will be responsible for bid preparation for Clients in EMEA. She has worked in real estate since 2013 and gained professional experience at an Austrian investment fund Immofinanz, CBRE Corporate Outsourcing, Atalian and Focus Hotels.

Paulina Brzozowska has joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services team. Previously, she gained professional experience in retail park management at a Belgian investment fund in Poland and in managing an Austrian developer’s office buildings in Warsaw at JLL. Paulina is a property manager of the Proximo I and Proximo II office buildings. She is a graduate of Warsaw University and has completed Postgraduate Studies in Real Estate Management at the Łazarski University in Warsaw.

Marek Dąbrowski has been a Food & Beverage consultant in the Retail Agency of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield since June. He has more than 20 years of operational and management experience in Ho-Re-Ca. Marek was responsible for launching a restaurant chain Vapiano on the Polish market and had been its General Manager and Management Board President for eight years. He was also involved in the opening of the hotel Campanile Warsaw, where he worked as a Deputy Director and F&B Manager. He completed Management and Marketing at the Warsaw School of Management (specialisation: Enterprise and Human Resources Management).

Agata Dworzak joined Cushman & Wakefield in June 2018 as a senior HR specialist. Prior to that, she had worked at HRK for nearly five years. Agata was later an HR expert at Sygma Bank Polska and had worked at Atos for the last six years as an HR specialist, a Workforce Manager and an International Mobility Subject Matter Expert. Agata graduated with a master’s degree in European Studies from the Warsaw School of Economics. She also completed postgraduate studies in HR Management at Warsaw University.

Magdalena Kokosza joined Cushman & Wakefield in July 2018 as a Property Manager with responsibility for the Atrium Centrum and Atrium Plaza office buildings. Magdalena has six years of professional experience gained at Griffin Real Estate, GLL Real Estate Partners and Hines Polska. She graduated in Journalism and Political Sciences from Warsaw University and Oxford Brookes University. Magdalena also completed postgraduate studies in real estate valuation at the Warsaw University of Technology. She holds a property manager’s licence no. 25072.

Robert Tomaszewski joined Cushman & Wakefield in June 2017 and has ever since been gaining experience in its Equity, Debt & Structured Finance department with responsibility for financial analyses, debt arrangement, debt management, market analyses and financial modelling. Robert also participates in commercial real estate acquisitions and disposals. Prior to that, he improved his professional skills at an advisory firm providing market analyses across various sectors for small and medium-sized enterprises. Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems of the Warsaw School of Economics. He currently studies Business Financial Management at the same school.
