Changes in Capital Markets at Knight Frank

Capital Markets at Knight Frank has gained two people, i.e. Marcin Purgal, who has taken over as Director in the department, and Magdalena Topolska-Ziemak, who joined the team some time ago as Senior Financial Analyst. In the meantime Katarzyna Laszkowska was promoted to the position of Associate Director.

Marcin Purgal, Director in Capital Markets, Knight Frank

As Director of Capital Markets, Marcin is responsible for managing relationships with clients, winning new orders, supervising purchase and sale transactions of real estate and entire portfolios, and for investment project structuring.

Marcin has nearly 12 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Knight Frank he worked for Savills for over 10 years. His responsibilities included consulting on commercial property purchase and sale transactions, and due diligence processes. He participated in investment transactions offering his advisory services to investment funds, private equity companies and individual entities. Throughout his professional career Marcin acted as an investment transaction consultant on a number of occasions, working both on the side of real estate sellers and buyers. Among others, he contributed to the finalization of transactions related to the BZ WBK FRN FIZ 2 real estate portfolio, Echo commercial property portfolio, Platinium Business Park office complex, and Żoliborz Plaza, Royal Trakt Offices, Bema Plaza and Grzybowska Park office buildings.

Magdalena Topolska-Ziemak, Senior Financial Analyst in Capital Markets, Knight Frank

As a Senior Financial Analyst, Magdalena is responsible for the preparation of due diligence processes and financial analysis of commercial properties. She has over 12 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Knight Frank she worked at Savills, where she started her career in Office Agency to move to Valuation and Consultancy after three years. She was responsible for preparing reports and appraisals of investment lands and commercial properties for such companies as GTC, Skanska, Neinver, PZU TFI, Apollo Rida, Azora and Celtic. She is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Polish Qualified Valuer. She is also a licensed real estate broker and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Katarzyna Laszkowska, Associate Director in Capital Markets, Knight Frank

Katarzyna joined Knight Frank in 2015, taking over the position of Senior Manager. As Associate Director she is responsible for coordinating the work of the transaction team whose tasks include, among others, preparation of comprehensive financial analyses, offering material and coordination of due diligence processes.

Katarzyna has over 14 years of experience in finance and investment in the real estate sector which she has acquired while working on office, retail, logistic and residential projects. She has worked both in banking institutions and on the client side. She gained her first professional experience in BRE Bank Hipoteczny and after over four years she left it for Bank BZ WBK where in the Department of Commercial Real Estate Financing she participated in the handling of transactions exceeding the value of PLN 400 million. For over three years Katarzyna worked on the client side for Panattoni Europe. This gave her the opportunity to work with Polish and international banks, and to successfully close more than 20 financings of projects in the logistics sector, worth more than EUR 440 million.

Katarzyna graduated from the Higher School of International Trade and Finance in Warsaw (Faculty of Finance and Banking) and Warsaw School of Economics (Management and Marketing).
